Ok, how did slice two manage to find/use the exact same queen/card from slice one?
Posted by: servicemaster at November 19, 2003 10:00 AMI wish I would have spent more time on my slice, but the corpse turned out well overall.
Posted by: jedisquid at November 19, 2003 10:43 AMVery nice. bobjob, your seamless join with the Queen of Hearts is fantastic.
Posted by: maniac at November 19, 2003 11:59 AMI'm impressed. I realized after submitting this one just how hard a slice it was to follow up on (it was my first time starting a corpse), but bobjob did a great job of following it up. MrDamon is the bottom right image hand drawn by you? I love all of the different styles of imagery in this piece.
Posted by: lilac girl at November 19, 2003 01:51 PMVery very nice. It looks almost as if it were done by a single, slightly odd, person.
Posted by: Jacob at November 19, 2003 07:56 PMAlright, since the question was raised: The playing card is not an exact match (look at the neckline/collar). I just found one that was similar, resized, rotated etc. until it lined up. As for the Queen of Hearts, I recognized the distinctive colors/pattern of Disney's cartoon queen, searched the web for stills from Alice in Wonderland and got lucky. Anyway, I'm really tickled by this piece, and I like the way the theme continues throughout. (I think some of you guys are psychic!)
