Speaking of titles, I was able to figure out Alice, Dee, and Dum's feet because we're able to see the title of the piece before ours. Maybe it gives us unnecessary clues? Just a thought.

I went ahead and turned off the display of the title next to the 15px peek image ... that's been bothering me too.

Should there be some type of limit on the size of each segment's title? Is 7 words or 43 characters too long for the title of one segment? Should we use/live-with some editorial control or should titles be auto-force-limited below some max #of characters and/or max #of words?

I (de)modified the overall title and then republished the corpse. This title is "bordering on longish" when the corpse only had 3 segments ...

Don't turn it off on my account... it was just a thought. Maybe everybody else likes it... Thanks for putting the title back, though. You rock.

I agree with turning off the title option...I don't think it's our goal to TRY and make our segments flow, I think it's something that just happens in really good corpses.
As far as how long a title should be, I think we all just need to show a little reserve. There is a subtle art in defining something in fewer words.
I definently enjoy the creepyness of this corpse. Perhaps I popped a few too many of those pills when I started my corpse segment.

I'm okay with a title limit, but I'm not sure it has to be enforced. The title itself is part of the piece and if it's long, so be it. Maybe within (broadly defined) bounds?

I have an interesting suggestion concerning the title. Maybe we make the title a corpse as well? Show the next person only the last word of the title of the previous slice and then they can base the title of their slice on that word.

Then "Don't do it Alice" would show the next player "Alice" which would have still passed on too much information about the previous slice.
