Hey, I'm surprised that colour was introduced into this quilt straight away!

I like the distorted Marilyn Monroe, and the clown face.

This is good - the blends are well done and it's lively, not stagnant, as work that focuses too much on blending can often get.

Yeah, the blends are excellent... I can't pinpoint where each slice begins at all.

Mine sucks. I had no idea what that pink/white/red thing could be made into. And the little pink/yellow thing in the left corner, I thought it was part of something more up above. Maybe next time I'll have more ideas but I don't work well when I'm tired...

I dunno, Christine, I think yours adds; your piece is part of the liveliness I was talking about.

Well, I suppose if nothing else, it blends ;-)

And it does blend very well :)

Christine: your bit certainly doesn't suck (the clown face and suns are particularly cool :) ), and in all fairness I didn't really give you much to go on. Blame it on my newbie-ness, I'll try and give the next person more to work on next time.

Has turned out pretty well tho, I think- I was a bit worried about how my bit would fit in- spent ages getting the blends as good as I could...

Prehensile: I've had less and came up with more... I've just been really busy lately and haven't made much time for fun stuff. I checked out a panel, then had to take care of the kids, worked on it the next night and was too tired to see straight by the time I called it quits. I didn't want to hold up the corpse, so I checked it in anyway. Maybe we need an Un-Checkout option?
