That is a very naughty test tube...I feel like I've made a Freudian slip...I like how the saxophone looks like it's transparent and mostly filled with liquid brass. The jumbled notes are really cool...is that original work, Mark?
Posted by: jacob at May 10, 2004 08:51 PMEek, should have left the stingrays out. Mine's too busy. But I like how the yellow color continued nicely throughout.
Posted by: Katy at May 10, 2004 09:30 PMI like this one. It has a simple, almost totally hand drawn feel to it. Nice blending as well. Good job everyone :-)
Posted by: Christine at May 11, 2004 01:37 PMHooray for the amoebas!!!
Posted by: kodgetts at May 11, 2004 02:53 PMjacob,
yeah i drew all of that in photoshop, except for the musical notes...which i made by taking clip art [y!image search] of a musical note and making it a brush in photoshop...and then messing with the settings in there.
thanks :)
i like the style of your slice as well.
i think this corpse turned out very nicely. good job everybody.
Posted by: [mark] at May 11, 2004 08:15 PMDamn, where is everyone? Upload some slices on the rest of the corpses, people!
Posted by: Katy at May 11, 2004 08:17 PMMmm, stingrays. (Has pleasant memory of the Coney Island Aquarium.)
I really like this one. I did all mine by hand - including Set, I just did him by hand a few years ago in acrylic. Love the distortion behind the test tubes.
I'll come back to corpsing soon! Probably this weekend if something's free then.
Posted by: Jen at May 11, 2004 09:31 PMThere's one free now I think, I just did slice 1 on it... Bueller?
Posted by: Katy at May 11, 2004 11:41 PMOooh, I like this one too. Nice consistent colours and hand-drawn style.
